Airplane food

In flight, June 28-29, 2016—

IN MORE NORMAL time I'd simply have observed the usual Tuesday fast — but I'm going to need my reserves these next few weeks, and besides, flying is so boring eating is almost an attractive activity.

And, you know, it could have been worse. Lunch yesterday was this roast beef sandwich, with sweet red pepper and roquette for interest, snd raw carrots and celery, and a pint of organic lager.

Dinner was less rewarding: cut-up chicken breast with couscous, a kimchee sort of thing, and a cube of chocolate cake.

Gamay/Syrah
